Research Technician I Code#D4-500
Responsibilities:

We are seeking a versatile technician to work in filed and laboratory at the Cooperative Research Program at Lincoln University of Missouri. Specifically, the incumbent will (1) work in the field on instrument installation, data acquisition and retrieval, sampling, and other field measurements related to hydrology, meteorology and environmental science; (2) maintain laboratory instruments and perform routine analyses of water samples for chemistry and stable isotopes; and (3) process and manage data at basic level.

Qualifications:

A bachelor degree in either of the following fields is required: environmental science or engineering, geo-science, and chemistry. Basic computer skills, particularly using Microsoft Office package, are required. Previous experience in both field and laboratory in environmental science or engineering is desirable. The incumbent must be willing and able to drive to field sites with a valid Missouri driver license and physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy instrument and equipment. Applicants must also be US citizens or permanent residents.
