Honors Program Requirements
Upon admission to Lincoln University, a student who has earned either a high school grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.2, or composite ACT score of at least 24 will be invited to apply for admission into the Honors Program. Admission can also be based on class rank and letters of academic recommendation.
Advanced Standing and Transfer Students:
A student with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher will be eligible to apply for admission to the Program.
A transfer student must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, and must maintain a 3.2 grade point average in order to remain in the program.
To remain in the Honors Program, all students must:
- Maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or above each semester;
- Complete a minimum of 24 hours of honors coursework; and
- Participate in the social, cultural and service life of the University.
Each semester, the Honors Program Advisory Committee will assess the progress made by each student.
