The Lincoln University Cooperative Extension and Research (LUCER) Media Center serves to promote all Cooperative Extension and Research projects and programs through editorial, design and communication technologies.  The Media Center provides onsite support during events at various venues, software support and development of University-compliant collateral.  From video conferencing and publication production to graphic arts and photography, the center uses a multi-media approach to publicize progress in the program areas offered. Calendar Events 

  • Lincoln University Cooperative Extension (LUCE) presents   (The Afterschool Program), Monday January 13, 2014 through Friday, May 9, 2014. Open to youth ages 8 - 17, this safe, stimulating, educational program will be held after school weekly, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Lorenzo J. Greene Hall, 900 Leslie Blvd., Jefferson City, MO. Transportation to the program will be available from selected schools. Registration begins December 16, 2013 through January 10, 2014.   • Lincoln University Cooperative Extension (LUCE) presents St. Louis Urban Impact Center 4-H Afterschool Program. Designed for students ages 11-18, our after school program runs through May 30, 2014 developing leadership and life skills through services such as after school homework assistance/tutoring, robotics, anti-bullying, step team membership and more.   • Lincoln University Cooperative Extension St. Louis Urban Impact Center is offering FREE Tax Preparation, Saturdays (February 1, 8, 15 and 22 & March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2014), 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. If your household income for 2013 was less than $51,000 you can have your tax return prepared and electronically filed at no cost to you!   • Lincoln University Cooperative Extension Native Plants Program is offering "Back to Nature with Native Plants 2014, Learning to Manage Native Plants for Pollinators and Us" classes. These hands-on Native Plants gardening and pollinators classes run on Thursdays beginning February throughout 2014.   • Lincoln University Department of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences is offering an Environmental Science Workshop for K-12 Educators, Tuesday, July 8 - Thursday, July 10, 2014, on the campus of Lincoln University, Jefferson City, Missouri. Topics covered will include Fisheries Biology/Aquaculture, Geospatial Information Science, Natural Resource (Wildlife, Soil), Waste Management & Green Structures, and Water Quality. Space is limited to the first 20 pre-registered participants as well as two college credits awarded (letter grade earned), and all expenses paid for K-12 educators.
