Sealed bids for construction of the University Wellness and Parks Multi-Purpose Recreation Center, Jefferson City, Missouri will be received at The Architects Alliance, 631 West Main Street, Jefferson City, Missouri until 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 5, 2015. Supplemental information will be received until 3:00 PM, Thursday, November 5, 2015. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in The Architects Alliance Conference Room at 4:00 PM, Thursday, November 5, 2015. Bids received after said time will not be considered.

Plans and specifications will also be available for viewing at numerous Plan Rooms including Builders Association and the Architect's office for viewing and checking out overnight; depending upon availability. Plans and specifications will also be viewable online at planroom.adsmo.net.
Bidders must agree to comply with prevailing wage provisions, MBE and WBE participation levels, and other statutory regulations referred to in the specifications. A copy of Prevailing Wage Order No. 22 for Cole County will be provided with the specifications. Payroll records will be required from the Contractor by the Owner.
A Pre-Bid Meeting and Tour for Contractors planning to bid the Project will be held in room 206 Greene Hall, 900 Leslie Boulevard, Suite C, Jefferson City, MO, 65101 at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 22, 2015. All General Contractors planning to submit a bid as a prime contractor are required to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend.

A certified or cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the specified time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all formalities in such bids. Likewise, the Owner reserves the right to select the lowest and best bid which is in the best interest of the Owner. A Performance Bond and a Material and Labor Payment Bond in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be furnished by the successful bidder.
