 College Base Exam (C-Base)

The C-Base is a requirement of all students seeking teacher certification in the state of Missouri except those who already have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.

Passing all areas of the C-Base is a requirement for admission into the Teacher Education Program at Lincoln University. Please contact your education advisor or the Department of Education office, 452 Martin Luther King Building, for information regarding the exam or admission requirements.

For students needing assistance with the exam, the Department of Education offers EDU 458 – C-Base Preparation during the Fall and Spring semesters.  This is a 1 hour course that meets the first eight weeks and focuses on the exam’s content, concepts, types of questions, study habits, test taking skills and test anxiety.  Additional study materials are available at the site below.
