Students are encouraged to complete a Career Development Portfolio (CDP) and work with the career counselor to explore academic and career paths prior to graduation. CDPs may include, but are not limited to the following:
- employment history
- resumes
- writing samples or sample media design and packaging
- mock interview comments
- character references
- documented community service
Career Development Portfolios are maintained for a period of three years from the date of graduation or departure from the University. Students and alumni may request a copy of their portfolio to be sent electronically for free. Hard copies will be charged $5.00 per requested packet. Packets will only be sent to students, and not to third parties.
