DIGITAL AUTO MANAGER

Details:
KMOV –TV has an immediate opening for a Digital Auto Manager in our Digital Sales Department. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to be a key player on a sales team at one of the strongest CBS affiliates in the country.
1.Ensures our auto sales force (which accounts for 75% of KMOV’s Digital revenue) is driving new digital sales by assessing and facilitating the use of best practices in solutions-based selling, up-sell of existing key account advertisers, improving retention and minimizing product cannibalization.
2.Holds AE’s accountable for performance by reviewing digital metrics, including forecasting to maximize opportunities and determine areas for improvement.
3.Mentors and develops staff through ride-along coaching, participating in client meetings, feedback, training and development
4.Networks nationally, regionally, and locally to stay abreast of emerging digital trends, rates and product solutions.
5.Utilizes a comprehensive knowledge of the industry, the competition, and the client to develop and execute value added strategies that generate business and strengthen our position in the market place.
6.Strategically analyze, plan and implement advertising and digital initiatives.
7.Manage and grow Cars.com and its products.
8.Work with affiliate sales manager from cars.com to launch new products and maximize revenue from current clients.
9.Develop and grow digital sales beyond Cars.com products
10.Work with Digital Director on pricing strategy, AE budgets, packaging, and to market strategy.
11.Establishes and monitors key pacing metrics and conducts frequent pipeline review to effectively forecast results.
12.Achieve Station’s budgeted revenues.
13.Certifies all members of their team in sales process, product knowledge and value proposition. Works with Digital Manager to ensure that each Digital Auto Account Executive is knowledgeable (certified when required) and equipped to sell the full array of products and services.
14.Coaches, develops and monitors behavior and results to determine development needs. Directly accountable for each campaign, ensuring it is properly executed to achieve goals per standards.
15.Completes periodic performance reviews and implements Digital AE development initiatives to meet the talent requirements on the team.

Experience:
Must have a minimumof 2 years of sales experience that focused on digital automotive sales, with a proven successful track record in selling digital advertising to Tier 3 auto.
Requirements:
•Must be detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills along with strong time management and demonstrated presentation skills.
•Must possess a working knowledge of all digital metrics, technologies and research tools.
•Strong relationships with key clients in St. Louis and experience in direct sales with interactive agencies and clients.
•Comprehensive knowledge of online and mobile advertising.
•Must be able to recruit, hire, train and manage their team of digital sellers and personally lead customers through conversations.
•Must have prior experience selling Cars.com, Autotrader, Edmunds or Carsoup.com
•Must possess knowledge of the inner workings of a franchise auto dealer including knowledge of PVR, COOP, Floor Plan, Days Supply and inventory turn ratios.
