Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Division of Accounting (OA-DOA) seeks a qualified professional for the Staff Services Unit within OA-DOA.

Responsibilities include:
•Audit Office of Administration procurement documents and payments for compliance with Statues, CSR, policies and appropriation authority prior to processing in SAMII Financial.
•Post audit payments that are processed via PVA documents.
•Run daily PVA report and follow up with OA divisions monthly on PVA documentation not received.
•Assist OA divisions with various inquiries, processes, billing and reconciling issues, etc.
•Assist with document filing and retention.
•Audit and SAMII Financial approval of OA journal voucher/referencing journal voucher documents.
•Audit and SAMII Financial approval of Fixed Asset disposition or transfer documents.
•Process budget document in SAM II Financial for allotments, appropriation revisions, expense budgets, withholdings, and flexibility requests.
•Assist team members and supervisor as needed and assist with other special projects as assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Working knowledge of State Statutes, Code of State Regulations, Statewide and OA Policies relating to payment and procurement.
•Working knowledge of the SAM II Financial System.
•Know how to create reports and spreadsheets in Microsoft Access and Excel.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the unit and with other OA divisions.
•Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices and ability to apply them to varied accounting transactions.

Successful applicants must be on the Merit Register by filling out an EASe application at or be appointable under the Merit System for the Accountant I classification.
