Campus Recruiting Visits


Prospective employers are welcome to recruit during the spring career fair, fall job fair and the graduate and internship fairs. Other scheduled visits may be arranged provided you complete the On-Campus Recruitment Form, and adhere to the Recruitment Policy. 


To ensure the quality of our services and to better assist Lincoln University students, alumni and other users of our services, the office of Career Counseling and Disability Services has created recruiting policies in accordance with the Principles of Professional Conduct for Career Services and Employment Professionals outlined by the National association of Colleges and Employer. To be qualified as an employer to utlize our services:

·         Employers and recruiters must adhere to federal and Missouri state EEO guidelines.

·         Employers must not involve solicitation, posting of materials, or sale of products or services.

·         Multilevel marketing companies MAY NOT have access to any recruiting opportunities sponsored by the Office of Career Counseling and Disability Services. Additionally, they may not request, through our office, access to recruit or market services to students.

·         Employers and individuals offering employment/entrepreneurial opportunities with compensation packages requiring commission only or requiring prospective employees to purchase a franchise or products or services up front, or where compensation is based exclusively on commission or fee/percentage of sales from others under their sponsorship in the organization, are not permitted. Exception: This does not apply to fees for Federal and State licensing requirements such as real estate, securities, etc.

Contractors and those representing an employment agency may recruit on campus provided they clearly represent the name of the company(ies) they are representing. Contact information for an individual at the employing company must be provided to career services staff for verification purposes. That information can be made available to the jobseeker at the discretion of the Third-Party Agency.
