The Little Theatre of Jefferson City

Jefferson Landing State Historic Site

Landing's three buildings date to mid-1800s when they were center of river trade. Lohman building now houses visitor center, and Union Hotel contains exhibit gallery, both open daily, year-round. Free admission.

Missouri Governor's Mansion

Official residence of Missouri's governor, constructed in 1871. Guided tours of the authentically restored 1st floor. Tours Tues & Thurs 10-3. Closed Aug & Dec.

Missouri State Museum

Capitol Building
East and west wings of first floor house the museum and tours of capitol, including Thomas Hart Benton mural and House Chambers. Tours given hourly, year-round. Free admission.

Missouri Veterans Memorial

Features a limestone colonnade, inscribed with "Missouri Veteran - Guardians of Liberty," a terraced waterfall, reflecting pool, Veterans' Walk with eight monoliths depicting the wars in which the U.S. has been involved since Missouri became a state. Season: Year-round. Free admission.
