Will be received by the Office of the Director of Design and Construction, at Mohart Center, 3200 Wayne, Kansas City, Missouri, 64109, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2008, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A certified check, bank draft or bid bond, executed by the bidder and approved Surety Company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal.
Plans and specifications for this project may be ordered online at http://www.westblue.com/ or by contacting Western Blueprint at 1814 Main Street, Kansas City, MO, 64108, phone: 816-300-6600, fax: 816-300-6640, for a refundable deposit of $100. Checks shall be made payable to Lincoln University, State of Missouri. Deposit will be refunded upon return of documents in good condition within thirty (30) days following receipt of bids. All copies mailed to bidders will be sent C.O.D. All copies will be returned prepaid by the bidder to the address the plans and specifications were secured from. Bidders must agree to comply with prevailing wage provisions and other statutory regulations referred to in the specifications.
A prebid conference and walkthrough will be conducted on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at Mohart Center, (formerly known as Linwood Multi-purpose Center), 3200 Wayne, Kansas City, MO, 64109, enter from Flora Street. Attendance at the prebid conference and walkthrough is encouraged of each bidder submitting a bid proposal.

Will be received in the Office of the Director of Design and Construction, Room 309 Young Hall, Lincoln University, until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2008, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A certified check, bank draft or bid bond, executed by the bidder and approved Surety Company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal.
The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this appendices. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the “Work Hours Act of 1962”, (P.L. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations.
The University hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sec, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
