Lemar Parrish Head Coach-Defensive Coordinator
Driven by the prospect of restoring the football program at his Alma Mater, Coach Parrish came back to Lincoln University in 1999. He was a Blue Tiger under legendary Lincoln University head coach Dwight T. Reed from 1966-69. Parrish returned to complete his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education in 1995 after a successful 12-year career for three National Football league teams; Cincinnati Bengals (1970-77),Washington Redskins (1978-81) and the Buffalo Bills (1982). A seventh round pick in the 1970 NFL Draft (No. 1133 overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals, Parrish won Rookie of the Year honors for his play in his first professional season. Parrish still ranks third all-time in punt return yardage for the Bengals with 354 yards. In 1981 the Washington Redskins named Parrish Most Valuable Player. Parrish retired from professional football in 1983.
He led the NFL in punt returns in 1970 and interceptions in 1979 and 1981. Parrish was elected to play in the Pro Bowl eight times.
In 1999 Parrish joined former teammate Jack Bush in bringing football back to Lincoln University. Parrish began as defensive backs coach for the Blue Tigers. In the spring of 2005 Parrish became the football head coach for Lincoln University.The first season leading the Blue Tigers was a trying one for coach Parrish. as the team finished with an overall record of 2-7.
During the 2001 season, Parrish became the second Blue Tiger to have his jersey retired. While wearing the navy blue and white, Parrish wreaked havoc on opposing quarterbacks. In his four year playing career at Lincoln University, the Blue Tigers posted a 23-12 overall record. Parrish averaged 15.5 yards-per-punt return and ran two punts back far touchdowns as a senior.

Samuel Bryant - Assistant Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator
Coach Bryant is a native of Boynton Beach, Florida. Bryant enters his third year as offensive coordinator and running backs coach for Lincoln University. Before becoming a coach for the Blue Tigers, Bryant was a high school athletic director and head coach at American Heritage High School in Delray Beach, Florida. Bryant’s resume includes coaching stints with Pope John Paul II High School and the Palm Beach Coz, semi-professional team in Palm Beach, Florida
The Delray Times, Palm Beach Post, Sun-Sentinel and WPEC News 12 named Bryant Coach of the Year in both 2002 and 2003. In 2003, Coach Bryant was awarded one of Florida’s top football coaching awards as the Dairy Farmers Association Class 1A Coach of the Year.
Bryant and his wife of 26 years, Valerie, have two sons, Sam (25) and Jerome (21).

Sean Anderson - Wide Receivers
A St. Louis native, Anderson coached for three seasons at Jackson State University. While at JSU he served as tight end, wide receiver, offensive line and quarterback coach.
He also served as a graduate assistant at JSU from 2004-2005. During that time he was a position coach, coaching the wide-receivers. He coached former Jackson State standouts, Chris Jones and Cletis Gordon, who are now in the NFL.
He has a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in mass communications from Jackson State University.

Terrell Davis Linebackers
Terrell Davis, who hails from St. Louis, MO, is a 1987 graduate of Lincoln University. He was the defensive coordinator at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania from 2000 until 2004. Davis also coached on two state championship teams (Riverview Gardens and Berkeley). He has been a football coach for 19 years. As a player, Davis was an AII-MIAA linebacker in 1985. He was voted MVP in the 1994 Minor Professional Football League championship game and the all-star game. Davis was named the 1995 MPFL Defensive Player of the Year. He is a member of the Mike Jones Foundation.
Davis is single and has two children, John, 17, and Joshilien, 13.

Chad Murphy - Quarterbacks
Quarterbacks Coach Murphy recently was the quarterbacks coach at Vero Beach High School, in Vero Beach, FL where last season they were District Champions and made the FHSAA 6A Playoffs. Prior to that, he was the Offensive Coordinator at Monroe High School in southwest Ohio. During his last two seasons at Monroe, his QBs threw for 5,553 yards and 59 touchdowns while completing 61% of their passes and compiling a 22-4 record, back-to-back League Championships and making the State Final Four in 2005. Coach Murphy graduated from Franklin High School in Ohio and went on to be a four year letterman at Kentucky Wesleyan College and Wilmington College. While at Wilmington College, Coach Murphy was a team captain on the 1999 team that went 9-1 and also interned with the Buffalo Bills. During the summer, Coach Murphy has an overnight skills camp with his former high school coach John Aregood and also works with the QB’s at Ohio State University’s Football Camp as well as the University of Cincinnati’s Camp.Coach Murphy is single and has 3 daughters; Alexis (14), Caley (9), and Courtney (5).

Brandon McCray - Offensive Line /Strength and Condition
Brandon McCray enters his second year of coaching the offensive line at Lincoln University, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Prior to coming to Lincoln University, McCray was the head football coach at MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL from 2003-2006. During that time McCray coached 5 All-Americans and the all-time leading rusher and passer in school history. In 2006 he coached the second player in NCAA history at all levels to rush for back-to back 300 yard games (357 yards and 331 yards respectively). Prior to being appointed head coach, he served as the assistant head coach/offensive line coach from 2000-2003, coaching six first team all-conference lineman and one American Football Coaches Association All-American. He helped lead MacMurray College to the NCAA playoffs in 2001 and its first undefeated regular season in 2002. From 1998-2000 he coached 5 first team all-conference performers and three All-American offensive linemen. In 1998 his offensive line paved the way for the top-scoring
offense in the country at 49 points per game, sixth-best rushing offense in the nation at 294 yards per game, and the third-ranked rusher in the nation at 181 yards rushing per game.
