WEIBERG DESTROYS BLUE TIGERS

Wieberg launched a lead off home run beyond leftfield in the first and smashed a three-run shot beyond the fence in centerfield in the second for a 4-0 Missouri-Rolla advantage. Both of the home runs were delivered when Lincoln University starting pitcher Nikki Nelke was ahead in the count.

EARLY LEAD IS ENOUGH

After a steal of second base by Arnel, Kelsey Barnard drove a single to centerfield that scored Stuenkel and advanced Arnel to third. Arnel scored when a throw from Lady Miner third baseman Lauren Feltmann off the bat of Nelke pulled Rachel Wilkinson off the first base bag. Missouri-Rolla plated two insurance runs in the top of the fourth inning to ensure their victory, 6-2.
