TRACK TEAMS LOWER TIMES, INCREASE DISTANCES

Many of the Blue Tiger student-athletes posted top times or distances of the season over the weekend, allowing them to improve or break into national rankings for their efforts.  The majority of the Lincoln University Indoor Track and Field team members tangled with opponents at the Mule Relays on Feb. 8-9 in Warrensburg, Mo.  A select group of Blue Tigers challenged some of the elite from throughout the United States, as well as student-athletes from several National Collegiate Athletic Association member institutions at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 9-10 in Fayetteville, Ark.

   Lincoln University is preparing for their final scheduled meets before the 22nd Annual Division II Women’s and Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 9-10 in Boston, Mass.  The Blue Tigers run Feb. 15 at Kansas State University (Manhattan, Kan.) in the KSU Open which begins at 1:00 p.m. in Ahearn Field House.  The Blue Tiger Indoor Track and Field teams return to Warrensburg, Mo. on Feb. 17 to compete in the University of Central Missouri Classic that begins at 11:00 a.m.
