TRACK SPLIT SQUADS RUN WELL

Continuing their preparations for the 22nd Annual Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships (March 9-10 in Boston, Mass.), the Blue Tigers ran in two meets last weekend.  On Friday (Jan. 19) a selection of student-athletes participated in the University of Central Missouri Invitational in Warrensburg, Mo.  A second group of Blue Tigers competed in the Saluki Booster on the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale campus, Jan. 20.  The indoor track and field teams are in a meet this weekend in Champaign, Ill.  The Blue Tigers run against more NCAA Division I opponents in the Carle/Health Alliance Invite, Jan. 27 on the Armory Track at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
