Welcome to the College of Liberal Arts, Education and Journalism at Lincoln University, where we prepare students for life. The age-old notion of a liberal arts education being essential to developing well-rounded citizens is fully embodied in our college. The mission of the College furthers the core mission of Lincoln University whereby the faculty and staff support, enhance, integrate and advance the educational endeavors within the College and prepare a diverse student population for careers and life-long learning.
These careers manifest themselves in twenty-seven undergraduate degrees from the Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration Degree to the Bachelor of Science in Wellness Degree. Furthermore, these careers manifest themselves in eleven graduate degrees from the Master of Arts in Sociology Degree to the Specialist in Education: Educational Leadership Degree.
Please take time to explore the four departments that are the lifeblood and pulse of the College of Liberal Arts, Education and Journalism: the Department of Education; the Department of Fine Arts, Humanities and Journalism; the Department of Languages, Literature and Philosophy; and the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. These departments have much to share with the community of learners, both in the classroom (teaching and learning) and in the workplace (relevant internships).
We look forward to your visit whether it is virtual or in person, because we have much to offer you as you pursue a career, enhance an existing career, or remain a life-long learner. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us, and how we are here to serve you.
