
Mrs. Linda McCreery, Director
With over twenty years of experience at Lincoln University, Mrs. McCreery coordinates the services provided through the Center for Academic Enrichment. She works closely with the professional tutors who assist students with writing and mathematics course work and with the Supplemental Instruction and SHOW student leaders who conduct study sessions for students enrolled in high-risk courses.
Mrs. McCreery earned a B.A. degree in English and Spanish from Central Missouri State University, and received her M.L.S. degree from the University of Illinois.

Mrs. Debra Grebing, Professional Writing Tutor
Debra, who is in her sixth year of employment with Lincoln, is one of three full-time professional writing tutors in the Center for Academic Enrichment. She provides one-on-one instruction to Lincoln students who desire to sharpen their writing skills. In addition, Debra occasionally teaches English classes and University Seminar. Debra received her BA, BS, and M.A. from Southeast Missouri State University, where she also taught for 13 years.
Debra is an avid reader of mysteries, loves to dabble in the kitchen preparing goodies for her husband and son, but ends up spending most of her "free time" either walking her two excessively demanding dogs or acting as a human mattress for her two spoiled felines.

Cara Holliday, Professional Mathematics Tutor
Cara Holliday is a professional math tutor in the Center for Academic Enrichment. This is her sixth year tutoring students enrolled in the various math classes offered at Lincoln. In addition, she has taught math classes and University Seminar. She received her B.S.Ed. Degree from Lincoln University in 1990.
Cara is married and has four children that keep her busy attending ball games and school events.

Kelley Sturgis, Professional Mathematics Tutor
Kelley provides assistance in mathematics to students enrolled in basic math through the first semester of calculus. She occasionally teaches math courses as well. She holds a BS and MEd degrees from Lincoln University.

Patricia Pollock, Professional Reading and Writing Tutor
Pat provides assistance in reading, writing, and study skills to all students and in particular to students taking Humanities 200. She also teaches GE 101, University Seminar. She holds BS and MEd degrees from the University of Missouri.
In addition to her tutoring duties, Pat coordinates the use of the CAE Computer Lab for writing classes. She enjoys developing her skills in computer applications and assisting students and teachers with their technology challenges.
Pat is a co-founder and co-sponsor of Barrier Breakers, an organization of students, faculty, and staff dedicated to promoting a more positive view of diversity on campus and in the community. She is a patron of the arts, rarely missing a performance on campus and is also a proud member of the Blue Tiger Athletic Association. GO LU!

Michelle Wilson, Professional Writing Tutor
An alumnus of Lincoln University, Michelle Wilson earned her BS in English Education in July of 1998. In September of 1998, she began working for Lincoln University's Center for Academic Enrichment, where she is a professional writing tutor. Michelle is dedicated to giving one-on-one writing instruction to students of Lincoln University. She is also a member of the international English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta.
When not at work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, her family, her friends, and her rambunctious yellow Labrador retriever. She also enjoys auctions and antiquing, and she is an avid sports fan.
