We consider it an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to serve our students. We are committed to helping our students to receive quality education that will equip them for the challenges of the global, knowledge-based economy of the 21st century.
Our College strives to achieve a balanced representation of diverse populations that is reflective of our larger society. Our faculty members are committed to creating a student-centered learning environment that is both challenging and friendly, and value students as customers. Low student-faculty ratio allows for personal attention to individual student’s needs. By studying in this environment, students have the opportunities to maximize their potential.
The College of Business and Professional Studies comprises three departments with innovative, competitive, and challenging academic programs: Business and Economics, Nursing Science, and Military Science (ROTC). Academic programs in these departments are designed to enhance the potential of individual students to succeed in their chosen careers. These programs have enviable reputation for producing leaders in all fields of human endeavors at all levels.
The Business and Economics programs at both undergraduate and master’s (MBA) levels are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Our undergraduate Business and Economics programs include Accounting, Administrative Office Management, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Business Education, Economics, Marketing, and Public Administration. The MBA program has four areas of emphasis: Administration and Policy, Accounting, Management, and Entrepreneurship. The two- and four-year programs in Nursing Science are accredited by the National League for Nursing. The passing rates for our nursing students who sit for the NCLEX-RN are higher than state and national averages. Graduates of our Military Science program display spectacular leadership success in the various branches of service.

Our success in doing this will provide students with the tools they need to face the challenges of tomorrow with confidence. It will also help them to recognize and take advantage of opportunities in their environment.
