The Lincoln University Office of Student Affairs and the Counseling and Career Services Center contacted representatives from various agencies in the community who agreed to serve as contact persons. Some of the agencies provide services designed for a particular need on a twenty-four hour basis with little or no charge to the user.

The Jefferson City Rape and Abuse Crisis Service is a non profit, tax-exempt crisis intervention and supportive counseling agency providing services to physically, emotionally, and sexually abused persons. Services provided by RACS are:

Referrals to appropriate agencies
Advocates for legal, medical and social services will accompany and/or act on behalf of clients in courts, police stations, hospitals, and social service agencies. Confidentiality is maintained. All services are free of charge.
