at Lincoln University of Missouri cordially invites you to attend an Open House on April 3, 2008. This event will allow you to get an up-close look at our beautiful campus as well as meet many members on the LU family, including administrators, faculty, staff, current students and alumni.

Lincoln University is an 1890 land-grant, comprehensive institution which is part of the Missouri state system of higher education. The core mission of Lincoln University is to provide excellent educational opportunities for a diverse student’s population in the context of an open enrollment institution. LU means exceptional living and learning opportunities for all who have the desire to learn and who relish the total college experience. LU boasts a student population of nearly 3,200 undergraduate students, representing 38 U.S. states and 26 International countries. Lincoln boasts the most diverse campus in the state of Missouri, and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Programs of the University are nationally accredited by 12 other independent accreditation bodies. Offering seven undergraduate degrees in more than 40 majors, Lincoln University is organized into three colleges and one school. The college of Business and Professional Studies; the college of Agriculture, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Cooperative Extension and Cooperative Research; and the college of Liberal Arts, Education and Journalism. In addition, there is a School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education.

Lincoln University administrators, faculty, staff, current students, and alumni will welcome you to campus and prepare you for your day.

 

Campus Tours

10:45 am – 12 pm

See our beautiful campus up-close and personal with tours led by current LU students.

 

Lunch and Departmental/Organizational Fair,

Scruggs University Center
12 pm – 1:30 pm

Enjoy lunch with LU and learn about some of the ways that you can become involved on campus, as many of our campus organizations will be represented.

 

Departmental Presentations

1:30pm – 2:15 pm

Visit our academic departments to learn about the in-class opportunities available at LU.

 

On-Site Admissions, Office of Admissions

B7 Young Hall 2:15 pm

Lincoln University will offer on-site admissions to those students who bring completed applications for admission, official transcripts, ACT or SAT scores and the $20 application fee.
