The LU MANRRS Chapter comprises of approximately (25) students and (3) co-advisors.
This past summer initiated LU MANRRS initiiated Farmers Market activities. MANRRS grew, marketed and sold fruit and vegetables from the LU farm. Nutritional information and recipes were disseminated and made available with the product sold.
Since autumn is approaching, ample supplies and varieties for fruit and vegetables are not available. MANRRS plans on selling the remaining supplies of sweet potatoes until the end of October.
However, MANRRS will continue with this project next year.
Our primary objectives are:
- To teach Marketing values.
- To Outreach and Extend to the community.
