LINCOLN UNIVERSITY - FEBRUARY SCHOOL OF THE MONTH!
The Tom Joyner Foundation has selected Lincoln University as the February 2009 School of the Month.
Since its inception, the Tom Joyner Foundation has raised over $50 million to support students attending the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
The partnership with the Tom Joyner Foundation means that Lincoln University will be featured nationally on the Tom Joyner Morning Show (TJMS) throughout February.

School of the Month campaign activities feature alumni chapter fundraising events and Pathway to Greatness – 1866 – 2009, a 1400 mile bike trek from Rochester, New York to Jefferson City, Missouri. Sybil Wilkes, Tom Joyner Morning Show co-host, will chair the cross country event, while Jesse Hill has agreed to serve as honorary chair. LU Foundation Board President, Victor Pasley will lead the trip, which departs Rochester on April 25. Alumni, family, friends, students, and faculty are invited to join the any leg of the trip as it moves from Rochester to Cleveland (May 2), Detroit (May16), Chicago (May 30), Indianapolis (June 6), St. Louis (June 13), and Jefferson City (June 19).

Funds raised will be applied as scholarship dollars for students attending Lincoln University. In addition, Lincoln University students are encouraged to apply for other Tom Joyner Foundation Scholarships.
