Gardasil

Gardasil (HPV Vaccine) is now available FREE of charge to registered students in the Student Health Center.  Brought to you courtesy of the Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH), Mid-Missouri Community Health Center and Student Health Services, this vaccine will be available to female students free of charge while supplies last.

Gardasil is a series of three vaccinations.  The first vaccine must be given as soon as possible, to guarantee all three doses for free.  The second vaccine would be due two months following the first.  The third, and final, vaccine will be given four months after the second. 

Gardasil is a very important vaccine that will protect you from the four major types of genital HPV.  HPV if left undetected and/or untreated can lead to genital warts, cancer of the cervix, vagina, anus and possibly death.
