Meet with your instructor regarding any course in which you earned below a C at mid-semester:
v Ask if you can possibly earn a passing grade. If yes, turn to the academic support resources listed below and work diligently.
v If you can’t earn a passing grade, proceed with the steps outlined below.
|
Consider your options:
v Elect to audit (H) the course. (You will continue to attend class, but do not take exams or earn a final grade. You will not receive any credit, but you will not have an F on your transcript. The benefit to you will be the opportunity to learn more about the course content before re-taking it.) To change to audit, meet with your advisor to fill out the appropriate forms which you will need to take to the Record’s Office.
v Drop the class(es). To drop, you will need to fill out a form and get a signature from your advisor. If you have no restrictions, your advisor will drop the class; if you have a restriction, you will take the form to the Records Office.
v If you can not pass ANY of your courses, meet with your advisor to discuss withdrawing for the semester. You may NOT withdraw from the University through Web Advisor.
