Conference Updates



BCDE IMPORTANT DATES & REMINDERS  (print this list)

 

Federal Tax ID #
Due to a mis-print in the BCDE conference booklet, Lincoln University's Federal Tax ID # was misprinted. Although we can not publish this number on the website, it is available upon request. Please contact TaLisa Walker for this informaiton at (573) 681-5695. We apolologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

W-9's
If your institution requires a W-9 form for check processing purposes please contact TaLisa Walker for this document.
 
Registration

Please remember after April 1st, the on-site registration rate will be enforced. The rate for on-site registration, or registration after April 1st, is $300.00 per participant. Conference registration forms can be found on the web at http://www.lincolnu.edu/pages/1782.asp. Additionally, for your convenience you may also fax conference registration forms to (573) 681-5175. Please remember, your registration is not final until payment has been received. There are three easy ways to make a payment: 
1. University check/cashier’s check 
2. Money order 
3. Credit card (Mastercard and Visa only). 

If you need to pay via university credit card, please contact the conference office for assistance.

Lodging

The conference hotel is Capital Plaza Hotel and Conference Center. The room block for this hotel will be unavailable after March 10, 2008. After this date we can not guarantee available space. Attached, you will find a ZERO BLOCK HOTEL list. This list provides you with a list of available hotels in the area where a rate has been guaranteed under the code BCDE. Rooms are not reserved at these hotels; however, they will honor the BCDE conference rate listed on the chart when making reservations. Please note the changes in red below to the Zero Block Hotel list that was mailed to you. Those listed in red currently have no availability during the conference dates.

Meals

Please remember that only the VIP and Gold packages include all conference meals. All other packages or individual selections (non-packages) include energy breaks only. Participants whose conference name badge does not indicate prior payment for meals will not be admitted to meals without payment at the door. For your convenience the Jefferson City Convention & Visitor’s Bureau has provided a list of local restaurants in your registration packet. If you would like to register for conference meals please do so during check-in and registration on April 10, 2008. Meals for the entire coference are $75.00.

 

Cancellations

March 10th is the last day to request a full refund for any conference registration fees. Request must be submitted in writing, and postmarked by April 1, 2008. After this date any cancellation request received in writing will be refunded, less a $35.00 cancellation and processing fee.  No request for refunds will be accepted after April 1, 2008.

 

Waiver of Liability Forms

Please remember that the Waiver of Liability forms are required of each conference participant. This form must be completed in order to participate in the conference.

 

Shuttle Service

Please remember if you are flying in to the St. Louis Lambert Airport, and you require shuttle service, the itinerary for your flight must be received no later than April 1, 2008. Additionally, if you are registering for local shuttle service (to-and-from the conference site) please be sure to select a package that includes local shuttle service (VIP, Gold or Silver Package) or select this feature separately for only $10.00 per participant. This is a one-time fee that covers continuous local shuttle service for the duration of the conference. Shuttle service will be provided daily during conference hours (7:00 am to midnight) to and from the conference hotel and Lincoln University’s campus.

 

*Check back soon. Shuttle service will be posted no later than Friday, March 14, 2008 by 5:00 p.m.
