Accept/Reject Financial Aid Award

Dear Student:

We have changed the processing of our 2007-2008 Student Accept/Reject of Financial Aid Award and Stafford Loan Application.

1. We are asking you to go out to Web Advisor at http://webadvisor.lincolnu.edu/online/. 
2. Once there you will need to log in and click either Prospective Students or Students menu. 
   1. If you are a new student to Lincoln, please select Prospective Students. 
      i.      To obtain your user id and password for Web Advisor, please click on the “I’m new to Web Advisor” link at the bottom right corner of the main Web Advisor page (https://webadvisor.lincolnu.edu/WebAdvisor).
   2. If you are a returning student to Lincoln, please select Students.
3. Then you will click on “Accept/Reject My Financial Aid Awards.” 
4. You will be asked to select the award year.  You must select 2007.  Then your financial aid awards will appear. 
5. You may accept all, reject all, or accept/reject individual awards.  Then click submit. 
6. A confirmation page will appear indicating what you have chosen, please print this page for your records.  At the top of the confirmation page it states that “If you accepted a Subsidized or Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, please select the below link to complete the loan application process.  It is imperative that you complete this process before your loans can be certified.”  Please follow the link to complete the required forms: http://www.lincolnu.edu/pages/1836.asp.
7. If you are a first-time borrower at Lincoln, you must complete all the following steps in ONE sitting:
   (1) Entrance Loan Counseling,
   (2) Lender selection,
   (3) Lincoln University Student Loan Request Form,
   (4) Electronically signing a Master Promissory Note for your Stafford loan. 
8. We will receive verification via email that you have completed the process.  We encourage you to print copies of the forms you complete for your records.

   2. If you are new student to Lincoln or this is the first time you have visited Web Advisor, you may obtain your user id and password for Web Advisor, by clicking on the “I’m new to Web Advisor” link at the bottom right corner of the main Web Advisor page (https://webadvisor.lincolnu.edu/WebAdvisor).

   1. If you are a new student to Lincoln, please select Prospective Students.
   2. If you are a returning student to Lincoln, please select Students.
3. Then you will click on “Accept/Reject My Financial Aid Awards.” 
4. You will be asked to select the award year. You must select 2008. Then your financial aid awards will appear. 
5. You may accept all, reject all, or accept/reject individual awards. Then click submit. 
6. There is no need to return your award letter if you complete this process.  Please make sure you keep copies in your records!
