M.B.A. Degree Areas of Emphasis

Accounting

This is designed for the student desiring to advance their knowledge of accounting. It will also help students meet the Certified Public Accountant examinations’ 150 credit hour requirement.   A student without an undergraduate degree in Accounting will be required to take additional prerequisite course including Individual Income Tax, and 6-9 hours of Intermediate Accounting   

Entrepreneurship                   

This is designed for the student wishing to advance their knowledge of entrepreneurship with a view to becoming an entrepreneur or supporting the development of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs.

Management               

This is designed for the student desiring advanced, practical knowledge of management, or wishing a successful career as a manager or business owner. 

Public Administration and Policy

The is designed for the student seeking advanced understanding of the purpose and process of government decisions and actions as they affect citizens and organizations for a successful career in public, private, and voluntary services.
