FORT LEONARD WOOD REGISTRATION

Registration:

Spring preregistration will be held 10:00-5:00 pm Dec. 3^rd & 4^th   and Dec 8^th &9^th by appointment. A sign-up sheet will be posted outside the office. Registration will be held Jan. 6^th-8^th 2009.

Payment:

Registration must be secured by paying in full or making appropriate payment arrangements by January 12. Schedules may be cancelled if payment isn't made and the University concludes such action is appropriate.

Note: You are required to withdraw from all classes if you decide not to attend. Failure to do so may result in you being held fully responsible for all charges to your student account.

Financial Aid:

Applications for Pell Grants and Student Loans should be processed BEFORE registration. Promissory notes are now completed online. (Note: Your User ID is your Lincoln University Datatel ID number.) Soldiers:

Effective April 1, 2006, all soldiers requesting tuition assistance must register through the goarmyed portal. You can access the portal from this website:  http://www.goarmyed.com/.  Application will not be activated until the $20.00 application fee is paid in the FLW office.

Advising:

PRE-nursing students have been assigned an academic advisor. The alphabet has been divided as follows:

A through D	Esther Conner
E through M	Beth Murray
N through Z	Barbara Lane

Tuition:

$200.50 per credit hour (non-nursing)
$260.50 per credit hour (nursing)

Testing:

The admission test into the program is the NET (Nursing Entrance Test) with a score of 65 or higher. Next test dates January 21, February 2, and March 23, 2009. In addition to this test score, the student must submit three letters of reference and a self-questionnaire (obtain LU forms from FLW office). This is the student’s responsibility. Deadline for Fall 2009 is April 1, 2009.  Jeanne will not be calling or sending out reminders.

Math Placement Test:

December 1, 2008. If you have not transferred in College Algebra you MUST take the test.  There is no charge for this test.  ACT Test:

ACT Test:

Must be taken at the time of admission. The ACT Residual test will be in in January (date to be announced).  The residual test score is not transferable to other institutions.  For the ACT schedule and more information, visit the ACT website.

January 12 - Classwork Begins
January 19 - No Class - Martin Luther King Birthday
May 9-15 - Spring Recess
May 7 - Classwork Ends
