| Description: | The Department of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at Lincoln University invites applications for a 12-month, permanent, non-tenure track position split between Cooperative Research and the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. This will be an approximately 25% research and 75% teaching split respectively, but will vary.
Primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate/graduate courses in Soil Science, Natural Resources, and Environmental Science and advising students in the department. The individual will work independently and as a member of interdisciplinary teams to develop a nationally-recognized research program devoted to applying his/her expertise area to solutions of problems associated with sustainability of agricultural and land management practices, the soil and environmental quality. The incumbent is expected to collaborate with other faculty and actively seek extramural funding for the research; publish in peer- reviewed journals; Fulfill appropriate service roles within the Department, the College, the University, and professional groups and associations.

| Qualifications: | The applicant must have a completed Ph.D. in Soil Science, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or closely related fields at the time of application; excellent communication skills in written and oral English; evidence of excellence in teaching at college level; strong commitment to fostering diversity in the department and experience working with diverse teams of faculty and students; experience with new technologies for distance learning is desired. |
